I am Herb Stevenson, aka One White Horse Standing. I bridge the worlds of business and spiritual healing. I am an author, trainer, and management consultant. I have published 26 books on various aspects of banking and business. I am on the faculty of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, where I teach in both the clinical and the organizational centers. As part of my effort to reclaim my Native American Indian heritage (Shawnee and Cherokee), I have spent the last 30 years exploring, developing and teaching skills in indigenous healing practices. I provide workshops around the country upon request.

Over the course of the last 15+ years, I’ve been asked to teach more hands-on practical classes in healing work, and have at last agreed to do so. The desire has been for others to learn more about how to expand one’s healing presence through

• the use of one’s own energy field, 
• rocks, crystals, and other materials to raise energy fields, 
• creating sacred space through altars, circles, and prayers/intentions, 
• creating healing tools as extensions of one’s self, 
• and many other ideas, I cannot remember.

What seems foremost is that the timing for establishing this program seems appropriate to the present world we live in. We need more people owning and being their healing presence.

I trust who is supposed to attend these classes will be there. I do so without attachment to past relations and teachings.

THE NATURAL PASSAGES PROGRAM Nature-based leadership programs that support men through the doorways of life that are not clearly marked. Natural Passages is a one year male initiation program. It is a program that enables the core integrity of the man to surface. It is designed to awaken, develop, and nurture the essence and fullness of being a man in today’s world. Our focus is developmental. We seek to invoke the unfoldment of mature masculine energies. Our goal is specific. We seek to assist each man to find his place in the world. Our hope is honorable. We seek to fill the void of mature men that can stay within the center of whom they are regardless of circumstances. Our dream is selfish. In helping you to find your place in the world, we envision your helping others to do the same. Therein, we can build community and make a difference in the world. Indigenous cultures refer to medicine as the essence of the person, place or thing. In our terms it is the essence of being a man as a spiritual, physical, mental and emotional being. In today’s society it is not always clear what it means to be a man. Moreover, it is not always clear how to be a man, nor is it always clear how to be the authentic self, fully present, regardless of circumstances. It seems that we have forgotten the essence of being a man, the medicine of being a man.
